Warranty services for Chery vehicles are provided based on the following terms, conditions, and limitations. Except for mandatory provisions under laws and regulations, the warranty services provided in this manual are the sole responsibility of Chery to the users.
Chery provides a 6-year or 120,000-kilometer (whichever comes first) warranty period for the first owner of a new car for non-business use, and a 1-year/100,000-kilometer (whichever comes first) warranty period for vehicles for business use.The warranty period for the vehicle starts from the date of purchase (based on the new car purchase contract or delivery date) and the mileage at that time. The date and mileage are indicated in the “Vehicle Information” section of this manual and are delivered with the vehicle to the user. Any vehicle warranty services related to Chery vehicles should be completed by a Chery-authorized service center.Warranty services for Chery vehicles are provided based on the following terms, conditions, and limitations. 1、The vehicle is within the warranty period.
2、Complete and uninterrupted records of each maintenance and repair within the warranty period must be provided and stamped by a Chery-authorized service center.
3、Parts replaced under warranty belong to Chery.
1、Our warranty covers the rectification of defects in materials and manufacturing processes of the vehicle during the warranty period. Repairs must be carried out using either new genuine parts sourced directly from Chery or remanufactured parts that have been approved by Chery.
2、If the vehicle fails to function due to defects within the warranty scope during the warranty period, it can be urgently towed to the nearest Chery-authorized service center for warranty service. Please allow a reasonable repair time for your Chery.
3、Repair costs that fall within the warranty scope during the warranty period will not be charged to customers.
• Damage or failure caused by improper vehicle storage and resulting vehicle repairs. For example, engine and fuel system damage caused by prolonged fluid stagnation, battery discharge, vehicle damage due to external environmental factors, etc.
• Regular maintenance parts and consumables, such as painting, glass, tire, tire sensor, wiper blade, clutch plate, brake friction lining, spark plug, air cleaner, air filter, engine oil filter, fuel filter, air-conditioning filter, bulb, fuse, lubricating oil, gearbox oil and coolant.
• Vehicle damage caused by failure to use appropirate fuel, lubricants, and coolant as specified in the "Owner's Manual," or failure to adhere to the maintenance guidelines outlined in this manual and the "Owner's Manual."
• Vehicle damage caused by airborne debris (chemicals, tree sap, acid rain), stones, hail, lightning, earthquakes, floods, wind and sandstorms, improper sealing, etc. Vehicle damage caused by using products not approved by Chery.
• Damage caused by collisions, fires, theft, accidents, traffic accidents, freezing, destruction, riots, explosions, impacts from external objects, or deliberate acts.
• Vehicle damage caused by improper use or maintenance of the vehicle. For example, reckless operation, overloading, racing, etc.
• Damage caused by installing, modifying, improper repairs, or altering the vehicle (including bodywork, chassis, powertrain, electrical system, and other systems).
• Vehicles with disconnected or altered odometers (excluding repairs, adjustments, and odometer replacements performed by Chery-authorized service centers as part of vehicle warranties).
• Economic losses or additional expenses not covered by the warranty scope, including losses due to vehicle downtime, inconvenience, storage, time or wage losses, rental expenses, accommodation, meals, or other travel expenses, and other incidental economic losses.
• Repairs and/or modifications made to meet local government regulations requirements after the vehicle has been sold, unless otherwise specified by laws and regulations or approved by Chery.
